Yesterday evening, ULC hosted a booth at one of Denver’s “National Night Out” events in the Westwood neighborhood. Founded in 1984, National Night Out is an annual event that brings together local law enforcement and neighborhood residents for an evening of community building and celebration.

According to their website, National Night Out is, “an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.”

Today, more than 16,000 communities and 38 million people across the country participate in the annual event. To learn more about the campaign, visit their website here.
