Housing Colorado’s NOW! Conference Looks Towards Long Term Stability Through Housing
This year’s Housing Colorado NOW! Conference was held in Vail, Colorado. With a focus on understanding the role that housing plays in ensuring long term stability, this year’s conference aimed to brainstorm solutions to today’s housing crisis. This was Housing Colorado’s 29th annual event, and saw a record breaking 850+ attendees.
Multiple ULC staff members attended the conference, and were happy to report that it was a very successful three days! ULC’s first purchase in Northeast Park Hill – what was once an old budget motel at 40th and Colorado but is now Renaissance at North Colorado Station – won both the Eagle Award and the People’s Choice Award. Developed by the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, this transit oriented development is located less than a quarter mile from RTD’s University of Colorado A Line, and includes 103 units of affordable, mixed-income housing.
We are already looking forward to next year!
