ULC Joins NE Park Hill Community in Celebrating Final Phase of Redevelopment at Holly Square
Yesterday marked the final phase of redevelopment for Holly Square with the completion of the Overlook, which is located behind Roots Elementary and the Vickers Boys & Girls Club. Completing the last leg of this project is momentous for ULC, our partners and the NE Park Hill Community alike, as it has been in the works for many years now.
We spent the afternoon celebrating the beautiful space with hot cocoa and some sweet treats. Local children from the community joined in the celebration, as did many of our longstanding friends and partners. Colorado Construction Institute, who played a major role in the construction of the Overlook, brought their students to see the work they had created. Nokero, another one of ULC’s tenants, provided portable solar lighting, as seen in the photograph above.
Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday and celebrated the final phase of redevelopment at Holly Square. We are beyond excited, and hope the area continues to serve the community!
Nice work on the Holly
