ULC Launches New Strategic Framework with Kickoff Party
To celebrate the start of 2017 and the launch of our new Strategic Framework, ULC did what we do best: threw a party. Thanks to our tenant Family Star Montessori, we used the gym at Curtis Park to join with community partners and announce our 2017-2020 Strategic Framework. Our friends from the Table Tennis Alliance brought ping pong tables so guests could partake in some friendly competition during the party as well.
As ULC looks towards the future of our role in the community, we felt it was critical to take a look back at our work over the past 10+ years and decide where we want to focus our efforts moving forward. As always, our top priorities will be in affordable housing, transit-oriented development and facilities that house nonprofit organizations that provide a range of services to meet community needs and often act as a stabilizing center of activity for many neighborhoods.
ULC will continue to work directly in many communities across the Denver metro region, including (but not limited to): Northeast Denver, Lakewood, Commerce City and Original Aurora. ULC aims to meet current needs in the communities in which we work, acting as a catalyst for broader impact, and a steward for undeserved neighborhoods. We look forward to seeing what the next three years hold in store for both ULC and the communities in which we serve. Thank you to everyone who joined in our celebration on Tuesday, we couldn’t do our work without you!
