ULC Releases Request for Proposals for Transit Oriented Development Site
Urban Land Conservancy released a Request for Proposal on October 3, 2016 for a development opportunity at our Transit Oriented Development (TOD) site at 48th and Race Street in northeast Denver.
ULC is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced development teams who have an interest in partnering on the redevelopment of a 6.07 acre land parcel, located two blocks from the future North Metro Rail Station (N line). The light rail stop will serve the $865 million National Western Center redevelopment.
This is an opportunity to be involved in creating a vibrant, transformative and neighborhood-focused TOD in a mixed income community. ULC, as a nonprofit which uses real estate to create and preserve long-term community assets that enrich and strengthen urban neighborhoods, is seeking a development partner who has the creativity, vision and long-term focus to complete this redevelopment. We are seeking a partner who has strong capabilities in site and urban design, community engagement and developments with multiple phases and land uses.
The RFP includes the criteria and requirements associated with any proposed development program, including guidance on community-desired uses for some of the potential commercial space components of a future development.
Please note: RFP submittals are due into ULC, attention Will Kralovec, Director of Master Site Development, by Monday, November 7th.
We greatly look forward to your interest in this exciting project!
