This is a full time position with a Monday through Friday working schedule as well as some possible on-call time in the evenings and on weekends. May be required to respond to emergency calls to make temporary or permanent repairs to systems.

This job will involve assisting in maintaining office buildings, warehouse space, campus facilities, and open land. Duties will include general support to both the Facilities and Property Manager. Conduct property walks to inspect general conditions. Make minor repairs and adjustments to buildings and building equipment systems as necessary. Report housekeeping deficiencies and perform minor janitorial duties during business hours. Walk vacant land and report on needs such as mowing and snow removal, litter, debris, graffiti, or insufficient grounds maintenance. Check and maintain building systems to ensure proper operation of these systems. Work assignments include, but are not limited to, preventive maintenance on buildings, repair and adjustment of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, and light carpentry projects.

 Must have a minimum three years maintenance experience in a commercial, residential, or construction environment
 Must pass a satisfactory background check
 Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a good work ethic
 Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
 Must be able to operate maintenance equipment; computer skills are desirable
 Wage range is $18 – $20/hour and is commensurate with depth of experience and overall qualifications
