Are you interested in the redevelopment of Holly Square in northeast Park Hill?  HARP has a newly formed Board of Directors and there is a lot of opportunity to get involved through various committees.  The redevelopment of this site is based on community need and input – we want to hear from you!

Please take a moment to review the following HARP activity updates:

NOTE: The upcoming HARP Community-wide meeting scheduled for Monday March 10, 2014 has been postponed. The next HARP Community-wide meeting will take place Monday May 12, 2014 at the Hope Center starting at 6:15pm.

The Holly Walkway project officially started construction during the week of Feb. 17th – 21st. Soil excavation and form work for 32 concrete pier foundation supports has been completed.  Construction completion is currently scheduled for the third week of March for the walkway and other area site improvements.

The newly formed HARP Ad Hoc Redevelopment Committee held their initial meeting on January 28th to begin planning for a new Request for Statements of Interest (RFSI) #2.

The HARP Board of Directors held its regular bi-monthly meeting on Monday February 10th.

The Holly Area Redevelopment Project (HARP) is now registered as Nonprofit Corporation with the Colorado Secretary of State as of Feb. 10, 2014.

The Vickers Boys and Girls Club Community Space Coordinator is seeking volunteers to assist in touring organizations interested in utilizing the community space and other duties. Interested individuals would need to complete an application, background check and training. Hours are flexible and all those interested should contact:  Cheryl Clark, Community Space Coordinator, 303-321-0340, cherylc@bgcmd.org

Plans are also being made for a bi-annual volunteer community space clean-up. This fun event will foster an even greater sense of ownership of the space by those within the community who use it.  More details concerning the proposed clean-up will follow once plans are finalized.
