CPNC is now home to 7 nonprofits: Family Star, African American Leadership, Denver Shared Space, Radian Resources, Summit Church, Burns and Brent Counseling and Consulting, and Tubman Hilliard Global Academy. We are really excited to have a full working nonprofit center, and we are starting to look into options for creating an even more efficient shared space environment.
We have also been busy making improvements to the building. In May, we replaced the main sewer line to the building, repaired 2 swamp coolers, landscaped the front beds, removed the security grates of the garden windows, installed a security system, installed blinds throughout, replaced 3 windows and various other upgrades totaling approximately $75,000 in capital and tenant improvements. There is more capital to do, but we are making great progress!
