Park Hill Village West was the focus of  The Sustainable Cities Design Academy in Washington, DC.  This two-day charrette marks the American Architectural Foundation’s (AAF)10th collaborative charrette engagement with public-private partnerships throughout the U.S.

The development of PHVW will also be affected by the surrounding station area, and luckily the City of Denver and RTD went with ULC to collaborate and tackle existing issues around urban design, and how to maximize development to benefit the community.  The Denver team had representatives from across the country who brought a new perspective to development around the Colorado station on the East Line, what an incredible (and exhausting) experience it was!

Thanks to AAF for hosting such a  productive charrette process, and getting the ball rolling on a development that ULC expects to be catalytic on the East Line in metro Denver!
