Urban Land Conservancy, a nonprofit organization, seeks a Neighborhood Liaison to support relationships between ULC staff with residents and business owners of the neighborhoods in which ULC pursues real estate development.
Candidate will establish relationships with neighborhood stakeholder leadership, nonprofit partners, schools, neighborhood organizations, and other community constituents and represent ULC at meetings and events related to affordable housing, economic development, neighborhood planning, and other relevant topics.
Must be able to navigate sensitive community topics and local politics. Must have 5 years’ experience working directly with socio-economically marginalized and vulnerable neighborhood populations and be committed to principles of inclusivity, diversity and equity. Willing to work evenings and weekends. Must pass reference check and criminal background check and have reliable transportation. Salary is commensurate with experience. Great benefits.
